Day 05 : Mysore - Coorg
AM drive to Coorg. Check in at hotel upon arrival.
PM visit Coffee plantation and processing factory. On return walk around plantation where there is a likely hood of spotting wildlife like elephants deer etc. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Coorg / Hassan
AM DRIVE 32 Kms uphill to visit Mercarea (capital of Coorg) where you see the local market, Onkareshwara Hindu temple with Muslim architecture etc? Later drive 145 Kms / 3 hours to check in at hotel.

Day 07 : Hassan / Bangalore
Fishing Net, Cochin AM Visit Belur (32 Kms) and Halebid (50 Kms) temples.
PM drive 187 Kms / 6 Hours visiting Sravanbelagola Enroute, Check in at hotel upon arrival

Day 08 : Bangalore / Cochin / Marari
AM transfer for flight to Cochin. Meet upon arrival and transfer to city for lunch, followed by a city tour – 2 hours approx. Late PM drive to Marari – check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel

Day 09 : Marari
Day free to relax at beach or visit the health center for Ayurvedic Herbal Oil Message. Overnight at hotel.

AM drive to Alleppy (15 Kms) boat Jetty to board boats for backwater cruise through Vembanad Lake to arrive at Kottayam (2 hours approx) in time for seafood lunch served on Banana Leaf. Later drive to Thekkedy / Periyar. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 : Periyar / Madurai
Elephants, Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary AM, take boat ride on Lake Periyar to see wild life like elephants, birds etc.Return to Hotel for lunch.
PM drive to Madurai (128 KMS / 3 Hours).
Late evening attend Pooja ceremony at Meenakshi temple. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 : Madurai / Chennai

LAMAYURU TO ALCHI

This is one of the easier treks in Ladakh and passes through less visited trails and remote Ladakhi Villages. The altitudes are lower than most other treks in Ladakh and some of the prominent Monasteries of Central Ladakh can be visited alongside this trek.

Lamayuru is one of the oldest Gompas/Monaesteries in Ladakh and has been a popular destination for Explorers since many Centuries, it is belived to be a pre Buddhism Shrine of the lost Bon Po religion. The spectacular Gompa at Alchi was abndoned centuries ago but has been lovingly maintained by the Monks of Likir Gompa.

Day 01 : Delhi to Srinagar
Meet upon arrival and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats. 

Day 02 : In Srinagar
Morning sightseeing of Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to the said gardens is about 12 and 15 kms respectively. Enroute visit carpet-weaving factory. Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats. 


Day 03 : Srinagar to Gulmarg
Drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. The distance of 60 kms will be covered in about 2 hrs. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek upto Khilangmarg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs. Chair Lifts for mountain ride are also available. Lunch will be carried from the Houseboat. Dinner overnight in Hotel at Gulmarg. 

Day 04 : In Gulmarg
Free for individual activities. Dinner overnight in hotel at Gulmarg. 

Day 05 : Gulmarg to Pahalgam
Leave Gulmarg after early breakfast and drive to Pahalgam (Valley of Shepherds) via Srinagar. Drive through Saffron fields, visit Awantipura ruins (1100 years old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Awantiwareman). Drive through the pine forest and along Lidder River. The total distance of about 140 kms will be covered in about 4 hrs. On arrival in Pahalgam, transfer to Hotel. Lunch, Dinner and overnight in Hotel at Pahalgam. 

Day 06 : In Pahalgam
Free for individual activities. Dinner overnight in hotel at Pahalgam. 

Day 07 : Pahalgam to Srinagar
Drive back to Srinagar from Pahalgam and transfer to deluxe Houseboats Dinner overnight in Deluxe Houseboats. 

Day 08 : Srinagar to Sonamarg
Full day excursion to Sonamarg by cars. The distance of about 83 kms will be covered about 2-½ hrs. Sonamarg lies in Sindh Valley streamed with flowers and surrounded by mountains. Sonamarg is also the base for some interesting treks to the high altitude of Himalayan Lake. Drive back from Sonamarg and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats for dinner and overnight stay. 

Day 09 : In Srinagar
Free for shopping and other individual activities. Dinner overnight in Houseboats. 

Day 10 : Srinagar to Delhi

Day1 - Arrive Delhi  
Traditional welcome on arrival at Delhi international airport and transfer to hotel.
   
Day2 - Delhi 
After breakfast, guided tour of historic city of Delhi. The tour includes the magnificent Red Fort, the Jama Masjid, Asia's largest mosque, Humanyun Tomb, Birla Mandir, Qutab Minar, drive through India Gate, President’s House and Connaught Place. Evening, see Son-et-Lumerie at Red Fort (optional). Overnight at hotel.
   
Day3 - Delhi – Leh (flight) 
Catch an early morning flight to Leh. On arrival at Leh airport, you will be met by our representative at the airport and escort you to Hotel. Breakfast at hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization, which is 3500 mtrs above sea level. In the evening short walk around Leh bazaar. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day4 - Leh  Monasteries 
Day excursion to the famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit early in the morning to enjoy the praying ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue drive to Hemis monastery, which is one of the most famous monastery of the Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day5 - Leh  Chumathang  Tsomoriri (240 kms) 
Leave in the morning and drive to Chumathang stop at Upshi for checkpoint. Chumathang is famous for medical hot spring & people visit to this place for medical bath. From here a short drive up to Maha bridge the main checking point to enter to this new area. On the way visit Sumdah village and another 55 kms drive will take you to Tsomoriri. The Lake is breeding grounds for numerous species of birds. Chief among them is the bar headed goose, found in great numbers, crested grebe, the Brahmini duck (ruddy sheldrake) and the brown headed gull. The Tsomorir lake is 8 kms wide and 28 kms long. Overnight in tents.
   
Day6 - Tsomoriri  
In the morning visit Korzok village with its houses and its gompa appearing like a mirage. The few barley fields at Korzok must be among the highest cultivation in the world. In the afternoon visit around the Lake. Dinner and overnight in tents.
   
Day7 - Tsomoriri -Korzok - Puga  Tsokar Tanglangla  Leh  
Drive to Mahe village. The village is an unforgettable scene of shooting fountain and white clouds hanging upon. This is Butan gas which Puga valley is famous. Continue drive to Tsokar via Polokongka pass (4090 mtrs) and visit Tsokar (small lake) and one can visit Thugke gompa. Continue drive towards to Leh via Tanglangla pass (5350 mtrs.) which is the second highest motorable pass in the world. Arrive Leh in the evening. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day8 - Leh  
Day for rafting on Indus River which starts from Phe to Nimu. Hot lunch at the banks of Indus. In the afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day9 - Leh–Khardongla pass–Leh (85 Kms) 
Day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the late afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day10 - Leh  Delhi (flight) 
Transfer in time to the airport to connect flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel for wash 'n' change and proceed to international airport for connecting flight to onward destination.

Day5 - Leh – Khardongla Pass – Leh (85 kms) 
After breakfast full day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest motorable pass in the world 5600 mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world records. At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountain. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day6 - Leh – Pangong Lake - Leh (290 kms) 
Leave early morning at 05:00 to Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 mtrs. After crossing the pass halt for picnic lunch at Tsoltak, the summer pastureland of the yaks. Arrive Durbuk and from there a short drive takes you to Lukung at the western shore of the lake and drive along the Pangong Lake upto Spangmik (8 kms) the last point allowed for tourists. This famous blue brackish Lake of Pangong is 5/6 kms wide and over 144 kms long with half of it running into the other side of the ‘Indo-China Border’. In the late afternoon drive back to Leh. Overnight at Hotel.
   
Day7 - Leh – Sarchu (250 kms) 
Full day drive to Sarchu via Upshi and we have to cross second highest motorable pass in world (Taglangla Pass 5350 mtrs). Drive through Moreplans there are chance to see tiny colonies of Marmots, Yaks & Herbs. At Pang we stop for lunch, continue drive to Lachungla pass 5065 mtrs. Arrive Sarchu. Tonight our camp will be at 4200 mtrs. and will be the coldest night during the whole tour. Overnight in tents.
   
Day8 - Sarchu - Jispa - Manali (256 kms) 
Sarchu is the borderline between Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. After 20 kms drive we enter into Himachal Pradesh and reach Baralachala pass 4883 Mtrs. Visit lake Surajtal and proceed onto Darcha after Rumtze. Drive to Khoksar where we stop at checkpoint. Ascend the Rohtang pass 3978 mtrs. and arrive into Manali region. Another 51 kms drive will take us to Manali. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day9 - Manali 
Halt at Manali to visit 400 years old Pagoda Temple of Hadimba Devi and old Manali to see the Manu temple. Afternoon one can visit to the Vaishisht hot sulphur spring bath. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day10 - Manali – Shimla ( 270 kms / 7 hrs) 
Morning drive down the lovely hilly roads to reach the former summer capital of the British – Shimla (Simla). Overnight at hotel.
   
Day11 - Shimla  
Day free at leisure to enjoy the fabulous strolling experience on the mall road, the church, the town hall or indulge in a short toy train ride from Shimla station to Kathleeghat station and back. Overnight at hotel.
   
Day12 - Shimla – Delhi (220 kms / 7 hrs) 
After breakfast, drive toward Delhi. Evening arrive Delhi and checkin hotel for wash ‘n’ change. Later assisted and transferred to international airport for connecting flight to onward destination. (Optional: To enjoy and experience the super fast express rail ride, we can suggest driving down till Kalka or Chandigarh railway station (which are about 100 kms from Shimla) and board the Shatabdi Express for Delhi.)

DAY 02 : CHENNAI
After breakfast full day city tour of Chennai. Chennai, the capital city, popularly regarded as the 'Gateway to the South' represents a culture that is distinctly different from that of northern India. The places of interest are Kalakshetra, a school of art and music that encourages exponents of Bharatnatyam, Carnatic music, traditional weaving and designing; Fort St. George built in 1653 during British reign in India, now houses the Secretariat and Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu; St. Mary's Church, the oldest Anglican Church in India with its premises; Sri Parthasarathy Temple built by the Pallavas in the 8th century AD; Kapaliswara Temple, Mylapore also an eighth century Pallava Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva; San Thomas Cathedral Basilica rebuilt in 1606 as a cathedral and in 1896 it was made a basilica; and Theosophical Society - the world headquarters of the Theosophical Society formed to encourage the study of comparative religion philosophy and science. DAY 03 : CHENNAI - KANCHIPURAM - MAHABALIPURAM
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram, 70 kms west of Mahabalipuram which is a city of thousand temples. One of the seven sacred cities of Hindus, it was the capital of the early Cholas as far back as the 2nd century BC. Kanchi was a major seat of Tamil learning as well as an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, Jains and Hindus.Apart from temples, the city is also famous for its silk weavers, who settled here some 400 years ago and have given it an enviable reputation.Later on we shall proceed to Mahablipuram, driving south of Chennai on the coast which is the ancient port of Pallavas. The pallavas have created many marvellous monuments with sculptural panels, caves, Monolithic Rathas and Temples. Krishna Mandapam has a big bas relief, notable for its realistic representation. The world's largest bas relief measuring 27m x 9m, whale back shaped rock contains figures of gods, demi-gods, men beasts, birds and representation of the entire creation. Shore Temple, one of the oldest in south dating back to 8th century AD is a good example of the first phase of structural temples constructed in Dravidian style. The Five Rathas are a group of five monolithic temples, each created in different style. Later Check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
 
DAY 04 : MAHABALIPURAM - PONDICHERRY, 135 KM
After breakfast drive to Pondicherry. In the afternoon city tour of Pondicherry. Although the French influence is gradually fading, Pondicherry retains a few Gallic accents. Pondicherry's main sights are the Rai Nivas, the Sacred Heart Church and the Sri Aurobindo Ashram. The ashram retreat was founded in 1926 by Sri Aurobindo after whose death the spiritual authority passed to one of his disciples, a French woman known as the Mother. The Mother was also instrumental in founding the city of Dawn Auroville, 10 km from Pondicherry. Its original charter aimed at creating a city of the future where people from India and abroad could live and work together in a spiritual environment. Evening transfer to hotel. DAY 05 : PONDICHERRY - TANJORE, 175 KM
After breakfast drive to Tanjore visiting en-route the temple or Lord Natraja at Chidambram. On arrival, check-in at the hotel. In the afternoon, city tour of Tanjore. The home of Carnatic music, musical instruments, dance and traditional handicrafts, Tanjore (Thanjavur) is famous for the Brahadeeswarar Temple. The temple constructed more than a thousand years ago by the Chola King Raja Rajan is an architect's marvel. The Art Gallery and the Saraswathi Mahal Library are also well known places of interest. DAY 06 : TANJORE - TRICHY - MADURAI, 201 KM
After breakfast drive to Trichy and on arrival, visit Srirangam, which is an island, 5 kms from Trichy. Surrounded by the Kaveri water is a 600 acres island town enclosed within the seven walls on the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswami temple. There are no less than 22 gopurams, one of which is the tallest in India. The 72 m high 13 tiered gopuram dominates the landscape for miles around.The Rock Fort situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, Trichy's most famed land mark is an 84 m high rock, one of the oldest in the world aprox. 3,800 million years. The attraction is not for fort itself but the temple at the summit. 344 steps hewn out of rock lead to the top where are the inscriptions dating back to the 3rd century B.C.Later drive to Madurai and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. DAY 07 : FULL DAY IN MADURAI
After breakfast full day city tour of Madurai.
Madurai, known as Athens of the East, is the second largest city on the banks of the River Vigai. The city is believed to be more than 2500 years old. The city got its name from the drops of nectar (Mathuram) that fell from Shiva's lochs when he came to bless its people for constructing a temple for him. Madurai where the people wake up at the chant of hymns is proud of the magnificent Meenakshi-Sundareswara Temple. Of its 12 gopurams, four of the tallest stand at the outer walls of the temple. The 48.8 m high southern gopuram is the most spectacular and have over 1500 sculptures. In the Ashta Shakti Mandapam inside the Meenakshi temple, the sculpted pillars tell the story of the beautiful princess of Madurai and her marriage to Lord Shiva.Evening transfer to hotel. DAY 08: MADURAI - KANYAKUMARI - KOVALAM, 352 KM
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari which would take 5 hours. In the afternoon go for sight seeing. Kanya Kumari is the southernmost end of Tamil Nadu, the land's end of India or the point where the three seas meet - the Bay of Bengal, The Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Later visit Kumariamman temple dedicated to the virgin goddessKanyakumari (Parvati) who stands guard over the country. The temple is built at the spot where the goddess is believed to have waited for her consort Lord Siva. Gandhi Memorial, constructed at the spot where the ashes of Mahatma Gandhi were kept for public view in an urn before a portion was immersed into the three seas. Vivekananda Memorial built on the Vivekananda Rock where the great Philosopher guide Swami Vivekananda went into meditation that transformed him into one of the most charismatic spiritual leader. Later we shall drive to Kovalam visiting en-route Padmanabhapuram, 45 km short. The capital of Travancore until 1333,Padmanabhapuram is known for its fort which encloses, among other buildings, a palace and a temple. The palace has some important art relics while the Ramaswamy temple has exquisitely carved panels depicting scenes from the Ramayana.Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 09 : FULL DAY IN KOVALAM
After breakfast full day free for your own activity or leisure. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 10 : KOVALAM - PERIYAR, 250 KM
After breakfast drive to Periyar and on arrival, check-in at the hotel. Periyar, spread over an area of 777 sq km, has about 35 tigers and leopards. However, sighting a tiger in Periyar is a fortune for one out of thousand. The park encompasses a 26 sq km artificial lake and is the home of sambars, wild boars, elephants and antelopes which can be occasionally seen on the banks of the river during a boat cruise. Periyar, otherwise, blessed by Nature has enormous tea, coffee, pepper and cardamom plantations and is lush green. In the afternoon we shall take a boat cruise on Lake Periyar to view wildlife.Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 11 : PERIYAR-KUMARAKOM, 136 KM
After breakfast drive to Kumarakom and embark on deluxe Houseboat for backwater cruise. We shall embark on the Karnataka Houseboat "Kettuvalam" at Kumarakom. Then move towards Munnattumugham village, through interior backwaters. We shall continue to Champakulam, earlier named as Kalloorkad, the ancient trade centre of backwaters. Visit famous St, Mary's France Church that is believed as blessed by Str. Francis in 42 AD. The mural paintings by vegetable oil are an exciting panoramic vision. We shall also visit the famous Champakulam snake boat construction yard. Overnight at houseboat.
 
DAY 12 : ARRIVE ALLEPPEY/COCHIN
After breakfast, we shall take a leisurely cruise towards Alleppey finishing point jetty. Disembark at 09:30 hours and drive to Cochin. Evening for free. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 13 : COCHIN
After breakfast city tour of Cochin. Cochin, Karnataka's commercial centre, has a fine natural harbor. Cochin (Kochi) gateway for Karnataka is famous for Mattanchery Palace, St. Francis Church,Wellington Island, Bolghatty Island, Chinese Fishing nets and Jewish Synagogue.Cruising on the back-waters provides glimpses of the rural life, fine view of the harbour and three islands. Evening show witness the Kathakali Dance Show in an auditorium. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 14 : COCHIN-OOTY DRIVE, 280 KM
After breakfast drive to Ooty, on arrival transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 15 : OOTY
After breakfast sightseeing tour of Ooty and Conoor. Ooty is an integral part of the great plateau occupying the junction of the Eastern and Western Ghats. Located at 2240 m above sea level, Ooty is the headquarters of the Nilgris district. Apart from coffee and tea plantations, trees like conifers, eucalyptus, pine and the wattle dot the hillside in Ooty and its environ. The places of interest in Ooty include Botanical Gardens where "summer Festival" is held each during the month of May: the artificial lake and Dodabetta Peak which is the highest point in the district at a height of 2623m. 17 km from Ooty is the first of these hills stations. Coonoor is a small town with an equable climate that has made it popular as hill resort. Tea and Tourism Festival is held here during Dec-Jan. the main attraction is the Sim's Park, a small well maintained botanical garden that has several varieties of plants not to be found in other hill stations.Evening transfer to hotel. DAY 16 : OOTY - MYSORE DRIVE, 155 KM
After breakfast drive to Mysore, arrive Mysore transfer to hotel. Later sightseeing tourof Mysore. Mysore, 770 m above sea level, is the imperial city which was the erstwhile capital of the Wodeyars. The legend takes its name from a famous demon called Mahishasur, a great warrior who ruled as a tyrant until he was killed by the goddess Chamundeshwari. Mysore as we see today is most famous for the imposing Royal Palace with a magnificent Durbar Hall, particularly splendid during the Dussehra Festival when the Maharaja's jewelry, studded gold throne (weighing 200 kgs) is on display. Chamundeshwari temple perched on a hilltop is 2000 years old, Nandi Bull half way to the hill is a 4.8 meter monolith. 19 km north-west of Mysore is the KRS Dam and the ornamental Brindavan Gardens. The musical fountains and colorful lights transform this place into a fairly land in the evenings. Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 17 : MYSORE
After breakfast visit Somnathpur temple. 45 km from Mysore, the temple was built in 1268 AD and is known for its Hoysala architecture. The temple is seated on a star shaped base, set on a chiseled plinth and guarded at intervals by miniature elephants. The temple wall depicts scenes from Ramayana, Mahabharata and Bhagvata. Afternoon back to hotel for leisure. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 18 : MYSORE - HASSAN DRIVE, 150 KM
After breakfast drive to Hassan. On arrival, transfer to hotel. In the afternoon visit Belur and Halebid. Belur temple took over 103 years to build and is a classic example of the Hoysala style of architecture. It rises like a wedding cake in stone, from a star shaped plinth, one of the hallmarks of Hoysala building design. From the base upwards, there is an extraordinary wealth of decorative detail; every available inch is crammed with intricate carvings. In one frieze, 650 elephants jostle one another in a continuous line. Many of the figures of full blossomed women depicted at Belur are believed to be portraits of King Vishnuvardhana's queen.
Halebid is 16 km east of Belur and 27 km from Hassan. The Hoysaleswara Temple dating back to 12th century is astounding for its wealth of sculptural detail. The walls of the temple are covered with an endless variety of gods and goddesses, animals, birdsand dancing girls. Yet no two facets of the temple are the same. The agnificent temple -dedicated to Lord Shiva guarded by a Nandi Bull was never completed despite 86 years of labor. In the inner sanctum, the star black lingam, the symbol of Shiva, is still worshipped. The carving at the door is ornate with small details.Evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at hotel.
 
DAY 19 : HASSAN-BANGALORE
After breakfast drive to Bangalore visiting en route Sravanbelgola which is said to be the world's tallest monolithic statue raises 17 meter high of Bahubali (Gomateshvara).The statue was built in 981 AD by the sculptor Aristanmi and is most sacred to the Jain Community. After arriving Bangalore do sight seeing tour. Bangalore, the capital city of Karnataka is one of the most important metropolises of India. It is a vital centre of science,aeronautics and electronics. Situated 1000 m above sea level, this garden city has pleasant weather round the year. The Lalbagh, one of the finest botanical Gardens ofIndia, Cubbon Park laid in 1864 sprawling across 300 acres, Vidhana Soudha built in 1956 housing The State Legislature and Secretariat are the main attractions.Late in the evening transfer to the airport for onward destination.
